Dumaguete - Siquijor Tour Day 2

July 27, 2013

Took the 9:00 am trip to Siquijor from Dumaguete via Delta Lines. I did not like the experience. The boat smelled unpleasantly old. I hated its smell. The one hour ride seemed forever. Should I stress more?

I rented a tricycle so I could tour the island for one day.

Port of Siquijor

Passed by Cang Isok house, Lazi Church and Convent as well.

Seemed like a day is not enough to fully experience the beauty of Siquijor. I missed snorkeling, diving and going to the Marine Sanctuary. Definitely I would go back for those and more.

Dumaguete - Siquijor Tour Day 1

July 26, 2013

Took the 7:10 am Cebu Pacific flight and arrived 8:35 am in Dumaguete. One of the few flights that was right on schedule, I must say. :) I am so anxious to see Twin Lakes that I decided to go there straight from the airport. I thought of two options to get there: by riding an easyride (multicab as we call it here) or bus to Amlan.

From the dropoff point, I rented a motorcycle (habal-habal) to take me to the lake. The ride is bumpy at times but I enjoyed the cool breeze going up and down the road.
