Cagayan De Oro-Bukidnon-Camiguin Trip - Day 4

4:30am is the earliest ferry trip to CDO.

Super moon!

We arrived at Balingoan port and took the bus to Agora terminal which is about two hours.

Today's white water rafting day. We waited at our pick-up point which is McDo Divisoria.

From the town to the drop off point is roughly 45 minutes. But from the end point, it's only 15 minutes to the airport.

What we missed are Dahilayan Park activities and the photo/video coverage of the rafting thing.

All's saved in my 256MB brain memory though. :) As I've said, white water rafting gave a different kind of stoke.

Again, thanks Jelene for the pix and the company!

Cagayan De Oro-Bukidnon-Camiguin Trip - Day 3

We woke to the sound of the rain.

It's supposed to be the island hopping day. Had breakfast at Hibok-Hibok restaurant, inside Paras Beach Resort.

Shortly after, we booked a boat to White Island, it costs Php450. It's a good 10 minute-ride from the resort. The waves are unfriendly and the sun's hiding.

After an hour, we left White Island to go to Mantigue. It's another island in Camiguin. Unfortunately, we were not permitted to rent a boat due to the bad weather condition. We also went to the Giant Clam Sanctuary where we thought we could go snorkeling. We are not allowed because of the same reason.

We decided to have lunch. We went to J&A Fish Pen. It's like a floating restaurant.

We went to buy pasalubong and headed back to the resort.

Then, me and Jelene spent the night at my cousin's place so we can take the earliest flight back to CDO.

We rode an ambulance, btw. Coolness.

Pictures taken by Jelene, Cath or Phellize. Thanks!

Cagayan De Oro-Bukidnon-Camiguin Trip - Day 2

We woke up early to catch Paras Sea Cat to Camiguin. We thought it's only Php400 but when we paid for our tickets, it cost Php 550 because of the increase of gas prices, so they say.

On board Paras Sea Cat.

Boat ride to Camiguin from Benoni port is two hours. We took the 8:30am scheduled trip.

After two hours, we rented a multicab for Php1500 (8 hour duration). We had lunch at Vjandep. It was raining while we were touring. We checked in at Paras Beach Resort.

An hour or so later, we went to Katibawasan Falls. Entrance fee - Php15

Next is Ardent Hot Spring. Entrance is Php20 or 25, I can't remember.

Terminal 3 8:20am flight

Aboard the AirPhil Express plane, we went to Cagayan De Oro. The flight's a little delayed but not enough to ruin the day.

Past 10 in the morning, we arrived at CDO airport.

Day 1:

Check out our ride:

Six of us at the back of a multicab.

We checked in at Travelers Pod near Limketkai Mall.

After checking in, we went to Bukidnon for lunch. Bukidnon's around an hour and a half away from Cagayan de Oro.

Del Monte Plantation

Corn Soup
We missed the picture of the vegetable salad.

Main Entree: Small-sized Steak

Fruit Salad
Option for unlimited pineapple juice or a glass of Four Seasons. We paid less than Php500 for this meal.

We can all smile now since our stomachs full.

We experienced light to heavy rainshowers in CDO.

In the evening, we went to Limketkai Mall. Then ended up having late dinner at Missy Bon Bon.
