Day 2 started at 8am. Breakfast at Surfer's Retreat.
Then we noticed what they wore.
After breakfast, we checked out the water and agreed to have another surf session. Unlike the first day, no photographers this time. All's in the water. Checked out 12nn. Then went to SeaNymph for lunch. We almost stayed for one more night when we saw how good the waves are. But we'll be back again soon LU.

Day 1, August 28, 2010
We arrived in Urbiztondo, around 4am. We went straight to Hacienda Peter's. It's everyone's first time staying there. Thanks to Mickey for the reservation. :) The room is good for 4 pax, we asked for extra pillows and towels since we're 6. There's a queen size and a double deck bed. We're staying at Room 16.
We rested and woke up around 8am. We had breakfast at Patubos store. I had the newbies taste one of my favorites, Tapsilog. :)
We prepared and then went to the beach break for some surfing lessons.
In Action
We also played Frisbee.
Lunch at Surfer's Retreat.
Rest of the day's been raining if not drizzles. More surfing and Frisbee took place in the afternoon.
Spent the evening at SeaNymph Restaurant. And that's Day 1.
To the Bus Station and In the Bus
Going to the Bus Station
So we have work on Friday. Supposedly, when the clock strikes 5:30pm we should be leaving the office already. They asked for an extension so we're leaving 6:30pm instead. Pam left early with Leo since he's going to pick up Grace in Makati. They're just going to meet us in Cubao. Our bags are with Pam so we can commute easily. (Thank God for Pam :)) We waited and 6:30pm came, work's not yet done. Good thing before 7pm, we're already getting ready to leave.
We took the bus to Magallanes, and from there we took the MRT to Cubao. It's Leo who told us to ride the MRT so it'll be faster however they opted to take the bus since the train is already full when it reaches Ayala. What's up with that?
Our MRT ride is a adventure itself. We almost didn't make it on the 1st train available because I sort of froze when going in. We entered through the next door near us.
We haven't started our main trip yet and I'm already tired, sleepy and exhausted. Thanks to the MRT and bus ride. I'm hopeful that we can make it to the 9pm bus however the party's not yet complete. We met Leo and Grace in Cubao while Pam went straight to Partas. Before 10pm, we're at the station and buying our tickets to San Juan. We're riding the 11pm bus. Talk about leaving early. 10:30pm, we left Cubao. Then the journey starts.
In the Bus
Mabeth's slippers gone missing.
My seat is not working properly.
Joem has no jacket.

La Union Trip - August 27-29, 2010 in the Works
We have been talking about this trip for a while. I'm beginning to lose hope that it'll only be one of the plans that never turn out. It became serious business when Pam said she'll join. How can this be a trip when it's just going to be only the two of us going? Joem's a little hesitant, Leo has given a condition that if Joem's not going, he's not going and even if Joem's joining but Grace, his gf is not joining then he's still not going! Now what? Bing has made her 2nd attempt with her parents but they said no. 2 attempts were made but didn't work out in our favor. Mabeth is vague because of personal issues. We're talking about less than a week before our scheduled trip. I am getting into panic mode already. Asked Allie and Leann but unfortunately they can't join due to previous commitments.
On Wednesday, Joem said he'll go. That same day, Leo and Grace said they'll join too. I'm seeing a light after all. Now, we're 5. We are now in a group effort in persuading Mabeth to join. Thursday night, she texted and said, she's going. I don't know what has gotten into her but I'm happy she changed her mind. Now we're set! Friday and LU, here we go.
Change in Blog Schedule, Preview of my Action-filled August and Welcome -Ber months
My idea of weekly turned into a monthly blog. That means I only got home this week. Time passed by faster than I imagined. For the past month, I have had two trips to LU, first one's with one of my fave lovebirds and the recent one is with my officemates. The recent one, I must say is worth the trip. We got good waves, good company. Living the life! It's really good sharing the stoke with people that I care about. The weekend in between my LU trips is a party weekend. Gone to Manor Superclub. A totally different story, deserving another topic in my blog. Pictures to be posted as soon as they become available. Things worth mentioning is the hostage crisis and major major, all happened in August. So, I remembered seeing that August 2010 as Chinese has called it is the Ghost Month? Oh well, it depends on how one looks at it.
Now, I'm saying Hello September and the countdown begins.

Tumbles and Turns
Having a blog would mean having either a laptop or a desktop convenient. I neither have those. Not on a weekday. I am now struggling in making a list of what to write come weekend as I have committed to write on a weekly basis. Now, I am having a hard time what topic should I put first since from the last time I wrote, there are at least 10 things that I want to share.
Another thing, in blogging it's important that you capture moments. Captured moments = camera. I don't have my own camera (DSLR) yet. So, I'm stuck with my phone's camera (2.0MP) which sucks or remain dependent on friends who bring ultra-hot DSLRs or high-tech camera phones. Solution is simple: buy. Getting the money to buy one? Complicated.
I love to surf. Do I have my own surfboard? Well, I don't. Now that's another thing. But I can still manage to rent.
So these are my roadblocks, what about yours?

Sunrise and Sunsets
These two never fail to fascinate me. Sunrise because it brings hope and a fresh start and sunset because it gives chance for everybody to do better the next day. It also generates beautiful colors from shades of red, yellow, orange, blue and even black. Let me show you some photos...

Starting my Own Blog
It's easy to write a blog. Almost anyone can. But making the blog more interesting is an entirely different thing. Designs and what have yous make me not to go on with this. Well, gathering courage and out of curiosity, welcome to my world of blogging.
